Plugin Scoping Call.
A Written Estimate Within 48 Hours.
Bring the chart or interaction Superset's default visualisations cannot give you. In a 45-minute call we work through the data shape, the interactions and the rendering approach, then send you a written scope, effort estimate and timeline.

Plugins and Extensions We Have Written About
Real work from our Superset practice, documented on our blog and guides.
Dual-Axis Line Chart Plugin for Superset 4
A custom ECharts-based chart that plots two measures on independent axes and takes part in dashboard cross-filtering.
Multi-Threshold Heatmap Colouring for Superset 4.1
Heatmap cells coloured against several configurable thresholds instead of a single gradient, for KPI grids that need hard limits.
Collaboration Features Inside Apache Superset
Adding comments and discussion to dashboards so analysts and business users can talk about a chart where the chart is.
Spatial Charts and Row-Level Security for Patrol Analytics
deck.gl map layers, effort-normalised metrics and location-sensitive RLS, from our conservation and wildlife BI work.
How We Scope a Plugin
Describe the Visualisation
A sketch, a screenshot from another tool, or a sentence. We need the question the chart answers and who reads it.
Walk Through the Data
Which dataset, what granularity, how many rows a typical query returns, and which dashboard filters must interact with it.
Technical Review
We map it to the Superset ChartPlugin API, pick the rendering library and flag anything the query layer cannot do.
Written Scope
Within 48 hours: scope, effort in days, timeline, assumptions, and a fixed price if you want one.
Book your Plugin Scoping Call
Describe the chart in a sentence or two. We reply within one working day with call times.
What happens next
- A reply within one working day with call slots
- A 45-minute call with a plugin engineer, not a salesperson
- Written scope, estimate and timeline within 48 hours of the call
No mailing list, no automated drip. Your request goes to the Superset team and a named engineer replies.
Plugin Scoping Questions
Almost. A plugin is a React component fed by Superset's query layer, so anything D3, ECharts, deck.gl or plain SVG can draw is possible. The scoping call is where we tell you if your case is one of the exceptions.
