Outcome-based AI services

Agree the result before the build.
Pay against the outcome.

Andolasoft builds and runs AI systems that are measured against a business result you define in advance: a faster process, a higher accuracy rate, or a lower cost per completed task. The result, the acceptance test and the commercial terms are written down before work starts.

What are outcome-based AI services?

Outcome-based AI services are engagements where part of the price depends on a measured result the client agreed in advance, such as processing time, accuracy or cost per completed task. Unlike hourly billing, the vendor shares the risk of whether the system works. That only works when the outcome can be measured, so the first step is always an agreed baseline and test set.

How it works

Six steps from a business metric to a paid result

Every outcome-based engagement follows the same discipline. It is the difference between a result you can check and a promise you have to take on trust.

  1. 1

    Name the outcome

One business metric, one process and one owner. Example: invoice exceptions resolved within 24 hours at 95% accuracy.

  2. 2

    Measure the baseline

We record how the process performs today, so the improvement is measured against real numbers, not an estimate.

  3. 3

    Build an evaluation set

We collect real past cases with known correct answers. This is the test every release must pass before it reaches production.

  4. 4

    Agree the price

The fixed or milestone price, and any outcome-linked element, is tied to the evaluation results and written into the statement of work.

  5. 5

    Operate and report

Monitoring, rollback paths and a monthly outcome report show whether the target is still being met after launch.

  6. 6

    Hand over cleanly

Documentation, runbooks and training let your team run the system without us, or keep us on a support plan.

Pricing models

How outcome-based compares with hourly and subscription pricing

Each model moves risk to a different party. Choose the one that matches how well you can define and measure the result.

ModelWho carries the riskBest whenWatch out for
Time and materialsClientScope is unclear and discovery is neededCosts rise with the hours spent, not the value delivered
Fixed scope, milestone-basedSharedDeliverables and acceptance tests are clearFixed scope can still ship a system that does not move the metric
Outcome-linkedShared, weighted toward vendorThe metric is measurable and the data is accessibleNeeds a clear definition of the result, the data source and who measures it
Subscription or seatsClientSoftware is used by people every dayPays for access, not for the result the AI produces

What we can and cannot promise

We commit to

A written acceptance test

Every outcome has a measurable target, an evaluation set and a date for measuring it.

We commit to

Visible progress

Weekly evaluation results and a monthly outcome report, so you see the number move or stall early.

We need from you

Data, access and a reviewer

Outcomes depend on access to the right data and a named person who signs off the results. Delays caused by those are recorded in the agreement.
